With over 2000 hip arthroscopy surgeries over the past 10 years, Dr. Mark Wagner is one of the most experienced Hip Arthroscopists on the West Coast.
Dr. Wagner has successfully treated Division I college athletes (UO, OSU, UW, etc.), professional athletes (Timbers, Winterhawks), Olympians, as well as amateur athletes and non-competitive individuals.
While Dr. Wagner treats many general orthopaedic disorders, he has concentrated his practice on hip pain in the young adult. This focus has allowed him to specialize in many relatively new surgical procedures, including hip arthroscopy and Mako Robotic Assisted Hip Replacement. Our primary goal is to get you back to your previous level of activity without pain. When non-operative treatments are not satisfactory, then surgical options are considered – including hip arthroscopy.
A board certified orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Wagner completed his surgical residency at Oregon Health & Sciences University in 2006 and is a part of the Orthopedics Northwest team. You can schedule a visit with Dr. Wagner at Orthopedics Northwest's state-of-the-art clinic, located in Tigard, Oregon.
Dr. Wagner and the rest of the Orthopedics Northwest team are the official team doctors for the University of Portland and hip specialists for Oregon State University. A hip arthroscopy clinical instructor at Kaiser with dozens of speaking engagements, journal publications and textbook contributions, Dr. Wagner is recognized as a foremost expert in young adult hip pain.
Outside of surgery, Dr. Wagner enjoys skiing, fly-fishing, hiking, and golfing.
